Fix for the 3ivx Video for Windows (VfW) codec

There is an incompatibility between the current version of 3ivx D4 (4.0.3) and certain applications that make use of the 3ivx Video for Windows (VfW) codec to encode into .AVI files.

To work around the problem you can change the registry (Start -> Run... -> regedit) as follows:

Change the current key from
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Drivers32] "vidc.3ivx"="3ivxVfWCodec.dll"

to

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Drivers32] "vidc.3IV2"="3ivxVfWCodec.dll"

This fix will be incorporated in the next version of 3ivx.
